Customer Review: Fantastic for the price
I got this for my Canon VIXIA HF100 camcorder. I shoot a lot of youth soccer and this makes getting more of the action in frame much easier. The two down sides I’ve noticed are vignetting when fully zoomed out and blurring outside the very center of the focus area under bright conditions when zoomed all the way in. The vignetting is pretty easy to overcome as it does not occur when zoomed out around 90% of full. You just have to get good at gauging where 90% is when zooming out. The blurriness when zoomed all the way in is a little trickier to deal with because bright light magnifies the effect.

With the two exceptions noted, this lens works amazingly well for the price with the camera I’m using.
